About Me
Calm. Attentive. Supportive. Lifelong Learner.
My Story
I discovered Pilates over a decade ago, while working in a fast-paced career in fashion. What stayed with me from those early classes was how fully present I needed to be. Pilates became a way to step away from a busy schedule and reconnect with myself.
As my practice grew, I developed a deeper appreciation for Pilates as a complete system, with its emphasis on functional strength, precision, and coordination. That experience eventually inspired me to pursue teaching and share something that had become meaningful in my own life.
When I’m not teaching, I’m usually making my way through NYC museums, one exhibit at a time, trying a new restaurant, or settling in for a Murder, She Wrote rerun.
Pilates became a way to reconnect—to my body, my breath, and myself. Teaching it is a continuation of that practice.
My Approach
I believe Pilates should be adaptable to the individual, rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. My teaching is grounded in Pilates fundamentals and informed by a contemporary understanding of how different bodies move. These principles guide each session, with exercises and levels of challenge adjusted to your needs, experience, and comfort.
Every session is an opportunity to slow down and become more aware of how your body moves. I aim to create a calm, focused environment where you can be fully present. Through mindful movement, I support you in developing strength, balance, and greater body awareness that can extend beyond the practice over time.
Along the way, I offer guidance and variations, helping you stay connected to your breath and develop more effective movement patterns. Whether we're working on the mat or with Pilates equipment, my goal is to make the practice approachable and purposeful.
